realy pathetic. I jumped through so many hoops with charter because i thought it would be easier than switching. faulty connections with internet. on demand randomly doesnt work. 3 of the 5 boxes we were first given failed after a couple months and had to be replaced. realy dont use charter. AT&T has been great for the same price. Check reviews before using any service, try to find which has the problems that both you the least.
Charter took out $300 more out of my checking account than should have. My bill was $31.74 and they withdrew $331.74. When I called about this they said sorry and would receive a check in 5 business days. It never arrived. When I called the second time, they said that a check was coming to me but it will actually take 6-8 weeks. I waited, and waited, and waited. It never arrived.
When I called them back 2 months later, they said that the check was never sent because it was "Pending" local St. Peters office approval and it did not get approved. I would have to contact my banks ACH department. When were they going to tell me about his????
I still have not gotten my $300 back yet.
I am so pissed that charter just thinks they can reschedule my appointment without notification!..my appointment was clearly today and no one showed up..I called customer service and they said it isn't scheduled until 2 more days from now..and plus they have it scheduled for a completely different time frame of the day to install it than it was supposed to be scheduled for..what a freakin' hassle!
