    Phil is AMAZING!! He had given us quite a bit of info before we went to buy, and when we got there he was super helpful as well. We bought 4 trees when we went, 3 grafted and 1 avocado. After a week or so the Avocado started to look bad & I called Phil. Phil was frank, and said that he wasn't sure if I had killed it, but gave me a few steps to try to recover the tree, if it was salvageable. We followed the steps word by word & it has recovered beautifully.

    I think ever time I've called Phil the Nursery has been closed, but he and his wife have been more than happy to answer any questions that I've had, even while they were eating dinner.

    We have recommended many neighbors, friends and family members to go to God's Little Acre Nurser and I won't buy trees from any other place.

    We are finishing up the prep for 3 more trees, which we will get from Phil.

    BTW we have 4 grafted trees, one we bought at Lowes before we found Phil and the 3 from Phil. The 1 from Lowe's is a 3 cherry, which produced no fruit. All of Phil's trees had fruit the same season they were planted. I can't wait to go back & get some more trees!!

    Friendly place with lots of exotic selections. Just a few tips:

    1. This place does not offer a refund, so if your tree dies, don't expect to return / refund as with Home Depot and other places.

    2. Some of the grafted branches may break off / die on you (or already half dead when you got the tree). You may need to check carefully to make sure that that your grafted branches are healthy -- showing leaves -- before buying.

    3. You may want to call to check the prices first. A friend got a similar tree (grafted) from OSH for 1/3 the price we paid.

    Some of the trees we bought here came from Dave's Nursery (with a Dave's Nursery label), so we wonder whether we would have been better off buying from Armstrongs or other nurseries. We don't know if other nurseries offer warranties for Dave's Nursery trees.
